Over the last few years I have written features and articles for a number of magazines and newspapers on a variety of topics. Below are listed just some of those publications, examples of my work and experience.
I have a passion for genealogy so many of my articles have appeared in Family History Monthly, Practical Family History, Your Family Tree, Family Tree magazine and Ancestors.
Last year, I was lucky enough to be on the 'Ask the Experts' team at the Who Do You Think You Are Live exhibition at London's Olympia. I met some fantastic family historians with great stories to tell...and problems to solve.
I have also been a guest interviewee on Newstalk Ireland, where I discussed genealogy and my book Family History for Beginners.
My writing often seems to have an historical element and for the last few years have had a history/heritage based feature in all issues of the Welsh Country magazine - a fantastic publication and celebration of the culture and landscape of Wales - as well as the in-flight magazine of Manx 2 Airlines.
No matter where you look a fascinating historical story can be found if you just dig deep enough. From 2007 onwards, my 'story behind the stamp' type features have appeared in the Stamp and Coin Mart magazine.
Articles have also been published in Gibbons Stamp Monthly, the Stamp Magazine and the Royal Mail's British Philatelic Bulletin.
Country and Border Life, Antiques and Collectables, Collector's Gazette, Scottish Memories, Canal and Rivers, Model Boat magazine, My Weekly, Yours, Writer's Forum and regional newspapers are just some of the other publications where my articles have featured.
